I do like the eglu cubes like, especially the purple one and the green one
I want chickens and ducks and goats when I'm older but I'm just going to have a big garden chicken wire it all, have a pond fitted, and have sections fenced off, with chicken wire or something sturdier over the top. But I haven't researched into it much.

We used them at work for hedgehogs and ducklings, they are ok, although there is a few problems, such as making 100% sure that it is on a 100% flat surface, as the ducklings got out, which wasn't good at all, espcially as there was a heron on a soft release, and a bagder has figured out how to open them, so we now have all the hogs in stables.

All in all I think that you'd be better spending the money on something else.

my mum has an egglu cube for her chickens and its great for them but she does let them out everyday as well. Theres no way its fox proof though, my mum has to move hers round the garden as the foxes start digging under the run.

I would NEVER use one for a bun or guinea pig I think they are far too small

    These are so inpractical.

As everyone has said for £300 you can buy a small shed or kids play house and convert it.

I've seen outdoor dog kennels with runs for a similar pice

They're nice to look at but i personaly love the look of the traditional wooden hutches with a nice big run

Just wanted to point out some of the good things about the Omlet products. I have the cube for my chickens, and it is brilliant. Cleaning out is so quick and easy, as it is all plastic it drys really quick unlike the wooden coops that take an age to dry especially in winter. Red mite is a problem with chickens and if you get an infestation in a wooden coop it can be very difficult to get rid of. I have had my cube for over a year and it still looks like new and so far has proved to be entirely fox proof. They are expensive but I think in the long run they work out good value. Having said all of that when looking for a rabbit hutch for my buns I didn't go for the eglu as I didn't think it was big enough, if Omlet did a cube for rabbits it would definitely have been my first choice.
